With the new wave of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant, it’s hard to predict how it will evolve over the next few months. Normally I would have booked everything in advance and have the preparation all in order by the end of November, but because of this uncertainty, I have once more decided to postpone the trip to the fall of 2022.

Autumn is the preferred season anyway to visit South Korea, so I’m okay with that. I’m planning October now, and that gives me some more time to prepare and book.

I certainly don’t speak for myself when I say that this whole COVID-thing is starting to eat away on me, and It seems that nothing interesting in my life has happened this past year and nothing interesting is happening in the next foreseeable future.

I see the future rather bleak with the Omicron variant that recently popped up. When will we be able to do stuff and travel without any restrictions on our freedom? Without any concrete and sustainable actions from the governments, I don’t see how we’ll ever get out of it.
