Nodeulseom is a unique island located in the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. This “lying island” is a hub for artists and creative individuals, earning it the nickname “Island of Art.” If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from the busy city, Nodeulseom is a must-visit destination.
Nodeulseom was originally a small, uninhabited island, but in the 1960s, the Seoul government began a project to expand the island to prevent flooding in the surrounding areas. Over time, the island was gradually expanded by dumping soil and debris into the river until it reached its current size.

Climbing Mt. Inwangsan

Inwangsan (μΈμμ°) is a mountain in the city of Seoul. It’s one of the four of Seoul’s inner mountains and is situated to the north-west of Namsan Seoul Tower. The highest peak is 338.2m. The difficulty level is easy to intermediate, if your medical condition allows it. I suggest bringing enough water and a towel on warm days, and good all-terrain hiking shoes that are comfortable to wear. In winter time, especially on Icy days, watch your steps carefully.
